A team of four students from Dunstable Campus took part in the Regional Finals of the UK Junior Mathematics Team Challenge. This was held on the 23rd of March 2017 at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge University. Thirty (30) schools from the Eastern region took part including a school from Brussels. The challenge had four rounds, a group round where the team worked together and the other three where they had to split up into pairs. The answers for the pairs were dependent on each other so they had to work with speed and accuracy. Our Dunstable team, Camden Douglass, Edwina Stedman, Ashlyn Stedman and Lloyd Tunley rose to the challenge coming 11th out of the 30 schools. They thoroughly enjoyed the day. Well done for a sterling performance in our debut team challenge competition. We can only get better next year!

Thank you to the parents who gave up their time to drive the team to and from Cambridge.
